The Green Back-pack

Since our school is an ECO school, we also included an ecology activity on Spring Day. A grade three class took a walk through our town Pivka and had a look at it from an ecological standpoint. They analysed the traffic and parking problems in the town; the cleanliness of the pavements; if there are any green plots or flower beds. At the local supermarket they looked to see if there were any products containing phosphates or other artificial contents. They interviewed some local people about their views regarding the environment.
At school they made a big poster with their findings.
