ZREČE
Zreče is a small tourist town, situated next to green forests of Pohorje. It is known for a spa Terme and a nearby skiing centre on Rogla. The guests can stay at the hotel or bungalows in Zreče, but lots of them prefer˝ tourist farms˝ located on hills around Zreče. Deer and chamoises are raised on one of these farms and guests are offered an oppurtunity to hunt them. There is a primary school with about 700 pupils and a high school for metallurgy as well as for housewives. One of the cultural monuments is an old house in a village called Skomarje, where a poet Jurij Vodovnik was born. Another writer with his roots from our area was Janez Koprivnik.
We could not describe the beauty of our countryside in a few sentences, so we kindly invite you to visit our town Zreče and spend a few days here. You won´t regret it.
