Our school is a small school in which 113 pupils are included in the school year 2001/02. We are taught by 11 teachers. By the basis of the school it is over 100 years old. But today this school which is full of playing and curious children, doesn't show its age. After the adaptation, extension and rebuilding of gymnasium the school still knowns the spaciousness and greenery. We live with tradition for present and especially for future times. We try to preserve everything what is good and beautiful.

Beside compulsary school program we organize different activities linked with the place on the spheres of tourism, culture and sports. So many workshops were taken, projects on curricular and excurricular level and projective work within classes.
Wide repercussions had projects according to national tradition "From flax to linen" and "From pumpkin seeds to pumpkin oil". School is connected to Pomurje Astronomy Society "Kmica" which carried out already 5th astronomy camp Fokovci where young come aware, research and get to know stary sky.
