THE INTERN
The intern is American comedy film. It was made in 2015. It was directed, produced and written by Nancy Meyers. Starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. Robert De Niro as Ben Whittaker is a seventy-year-old widower. He was retired from a phone book company. He applied to a senior citizen intern program. The company, where he applied, is a fast-growing e-commerce fashion start up. It's founder and CEO Jules Ostin also known as Anne Hathaway, had agreed to a community outreach program where seniors would intern in the firm. A lot of seniors applied, but only four of thm made it. Ben impressed everyone so he is hired. Each one of these seniors got someone to assign with, Ben was assigned with Jules. At first she is very sceptical abot him. Everyone instantly liked Ben because of his oldnes and his good behavior. Jules soon started adoreing him herself. One day Ben noticed Jule's chauffeur drinkig. He convinced the driver to go home and that he'll drive her home himself. He did that for a long time. Ben, after a long time, revealed that he once worked in the very same building where Jule's company is now. He developed a romantic relationship with the in-house massage therapist Fiona also known as Rene Russo. He was very committed to Jules, he even broke into her mother's house, just to delete an embarrassingly scathing email that Jules accidently sent her. He got to know her familiy, her husband Matt-Anders Holm and their daughter, Paige-JoJo Kushner. Matt gave up his own career to be stay-at-home dad. Their marriage was slowly breaking apart, over Jule's long hours at work. Jules is very under pressure to give up her post of CEO to someone outside of the company. When Ben was driving Paige home from a party, he found out that Matt ha san affair. While Ben and Jules were on a business trip in San Francisco, Jules revealed to Ben, that she knew about Matt's affair. She's trying to save her marriage, because of that she hired a prospective CEO. Matt unexpectedly droped in at office and urges her to reconsider. He was saying that he is willing to make their marriage work. Jules goes out looking for Ben, wanting to tell him that she has changed her mind and finds him obviously enjoying his Thai Chi exercise group. She finally lets herself relax and joins him.
