| FIRST TIME AT SCHOOL |
|
Sally was five years old, and she began going to school. Her mother took her there by car in the morning, and in the afternoon she went there again. When they were driving home, mother wanted to know everything about Sally's day at school. "Did you have a good time at school?" Sally's mother said to her. "Yes," the child said, "it was nice. We were playing games and drawing pictures." "Were the other children nice?" her mother asked. "Yes," Sally said, "but there was a woman there, and I didn't like her because she was talking all the time." |
