Hello Aljaž and all your assistants,

Thank you for the effort you have put to help the poor inhabitants who need drinking water for their life. This water is hidden in the depth and it can come to people only through a good well. They have already been digging a deep hole, but usually there's no money for the equipment or there isn't enough of it and so we're waiting for better times. They will come with the help of the missionary and good people from my native country.

So be brave to continue with collecting money.

Dear Aljaž,

We're sending you nice and very hot African greetings. Father Stanko is at the moment in neighbouring Zambia, where he, from nothing, had built a modern town Nangoma some years ago.

Not to be waiting too long, I'm replying you that we are looking forward to your help and that your gift, documented by photos, which we take on the building ground, will truly come into the right hands.

In our missionary we have no less than 90 places which we call branch missionaries. These include more hamlets and small villages. They all need mostly water which gives life and also crop.

This year there's famine with us. Last year there was a lack of rainfall. In the next three months it's going to be very hard for the people.

Please, write us how you imagine to help us and what shall we do with the help.

In the middle of the month father Stanko is coming back and then we'll have further contacts.

In Malawi there's one of the most famous persons. Jesuit father Stanko Rozman, 62, first studied philosophy as old Jesuitical tradition demands – to be devoted to school and studies. Later he was sent to Zambia to do some practice.

He stayed there for three years as a teacher in the seminary Mpimi. The superiors sent him to Toronto to study theology which he finished in the USA. He returned to Zambia in the autumn of 1977 where in the following years he set up a parish and a hospital with all the neccessary infrastructure.
