METREL IN SLOVENIA AND IN THE WORLD

Company was founded in 1949 as laboratory for electronic measuring instruments at In{titut za elektrozveze within the reputable ISKRA GROUP known in the world for 40 years.

After transformation of ISKRA in 1990s, the then company ISKRA MERILNA ELEKTRONIKA HORJUL on June 1st, 1995 changed the name into METREL and became an independent joint-stock enterprise, privatised in new circumstances of free market economy and independent Slovenia.

METREL of today proves to be a company with:: * fast growth; * skilful teams of high-qualified engineers and specialists; * versatile market links with partners and dealers throughout the Europe; * ability to fastly respond the market demands with new innovative or improved products of high quality.

Once mainly producer for domestic market, METREL today exports 80% of its output to West-Europe and overseas. The main partners of METREL are in Italy, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Australia and USA. All products of METREL are constructed in compliance with EN, CE directives and/or with other international standards.

ISO 9000 standard is now in procedure to be acquired in 1996.
