PUPPET THEATRE 'TRI'

was founded in 1990 by three lady puppeteers. Today it is managed by two of the founders, who often work as writers, directors, puppet makers and sole performers, but sometimes cooperate with artists from other Slovenian puppet theatres. The charming performances about the pretty Čenča and Regratanija have been frequently performed both in Slovenia and abroad. Grimm-Herlec: POGUMNI KROJAČ (The brave tailor)

The Brave Tailor performed by two puppeteers from the Tri puppet theatre is a show playing with the objects from a tailor's shop: a mannequin, cloth, scissors, needle, thread... Every object changes its original purpose, and is turned into a plaything. Every object that happens to come into the skilful animator's hands can tell a story and become a puppet! Well-known, everyday articles become different, disguised. The old becomes the new --and this takes courage, which Pogumni krojač definitely does not lack.
