PUPPET THEATRE FRU FRU

started off in 1984 as a typical "suitcase theatre"; in 1992 it became a family theatre trying to find suitable puppet images for well-known children's stories. Accompanied by live music, the two performers reveal the mysterious world of the objects come to life -- the most ordinary objects become puppets which form the simple world of childhood truth. The theatre has taken part in a number of renowned international festivals in Belgium, Poland and Germany.

Ela Peroci: MOJ DEŽNIK JE LAHKO BALON (My umbrella can become a balloon) The show is based on the charm of a children's drawing, its simplicity and invigorating playfulness. The poetic story about a little girl who goes searching for her lost ball is thus given a proper frame. The show is characterized by dynamic imaginative elan. That a children's drawing is a fortunate choice of model upon which to base the show becomes clear in the very progress from the two- to the three-dimensional plane, and in their mutual relation. Moj dežnik je lahko balon is a show which encourages even the youngest viewers, and invites them to enter into creative play.
