Razvoj modelov za izobraževanje in usposabljanje Romov z namenom zagotoviti povečanje rednega zaposlovanja

The initial phase of the project represents formation of data on programs and projects, dealing with training and education of Roma in Slovenia, and aiming at increased possibilities of employment, as there are a number of institutions in Slovenia that are involved in these activities.The first part of the project deals with programs and projects in the region of Dolenjska. For their efficiency, cooperation between members of Roma community and people carrying out these projects is necessary.The second part includes international cooperation and comparison of Slovenian experience with international standards.  In December 2001, report from the Council of Europe's international workshop for the training of local employment services' staff, titled »Employment possibilities of members of Roma community« (held in Novo mesto, October 3-5 2001) was prepared.
