VECER, daily, 24 January 2001 - DANCE TO THE BEAT OF LUCIFER'S WORDS - By Anja Golob :

Temptation, alongside several other qualities and merits, has demonstrated that Slovene contemporary dance has successfully passed the test of ìthe grand stageî. What is even more pleasing is the fact that it has passed this test with an adaptation of, so to speak, a Slovene classic par excellence. Cankarís Pohujsanje v dolini Sentflorjanski (Scandalous Temptation in the St. Florian Valley) has undoubtedly been adapted in the most radical of ways. It is well thought out and has a precise objective, focusing on the essence, penetrating to the core of issues raised, its time being the ever-existing present. We are more than justified in saying that Temptation, as presented by Faric and his large company of dancers, is a jolly good, if not, for the most part, excellent performance whose components are individually perfected and built into a uniform and consistent whole.

DNEVNIK, 24 January 2001 - PRECISE AND SPECTACULAR - Temptation - a spectacular dance performance awarded with ovations -By Amelia Kraigher:

Matjaz Faric has precisely translated Cankarís well-known farce into a contemporary ballet, creating a magnificent and highly professional production charged with cool eroticismÖ Temptation is a performance in which not a single element is superfluous or lacking. All components are fused into a convincing whole, the scenes are clear, balanced, the rhythm precise and polished, the dance material elaborated to the finest detail.
