Colonial and Revolutionary Families of Pennsylvania Vols I-III suggests that David was the son of James C/Christian Adamson; Margaret Fair d. 17 Jan/Feb 1779 (Tab. 42/24,530); David's tombstone lists his birth as 1 April 1721, which would fit with David being the son of James C/Christian Adamson bapt. 2 Apr 1721 Largo (Tab. 42/539); David architect & wright d. 1760s (Tab. 42/486)
