HOMEMADE WINDSURF BOARD (year 1985)

I use an poliurethane panel and carved out a shape of board. I glue some sanding paper on template that I use for shaping botom side of board.
I glass board with two layers of 360 gr/m2 glass BID fabric. This was only glas that I can get. One layer looks to fragile, so I put on second layer.
This was my first attempt to work with composites. I use a lot of filler and also a loooot of sanding paper.
I MADE SOME DESIGNS MISTAKES
I was thinking that I am smarter than manufacturers of surfboards (remember then I was joung and full of myself...) so I make some features by my opinions. Result was that surfboard had some unpleasent habbits, that make me hard to surf on straight course.

MISTAKE 1: TAILFIN LOCATED NOT ENOUGH REARWARD
Result was that I wasnt able to pull sail back enough to take a wild ride. If I did this the surf starts to turn against wind...

MISTAKE 2: BOTTOM WITH TWO UNDERCHAMBERED SURFACES WERE OVERDESIGNED
Result was that once board reach certain speed, but not gliding yet, it was hard to make a sharp turn. It wants to glide straight like on tracks...
