TECHNOLOGICAL TRADITION IN THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE 20TH CENTURY
The paper deals with technological trends in architectural design. The technological trends are connected with the engineering building tradition. The concept of active control of instability of constructions and their adaptation to the environment is explained.
The development of tectonic architecture is caused by the technological transfer of knowledge from a series of sciences and by bionic changes in the fields of military and civil aviations, industry automation, artificial intelligence, machine development, astronomy, aeronautics, telecommunications and others. Active compositions relate to the concept of bionic and cybernetic technology of multistasis which can generate balance within the framework of a functioning network of homeostases.
The consequences of such a building design may be pointed out in the dynamics of architectonic and urban constructions, and in all the constructions actively responding to their environment.
The development of advanced design can be observed through the studies of modern architecture, its origins and inspirations, especially those from the 19th century.
The paper is supplemented with thirty graphical examples based on the author's doctoral thesis.
