RADOVICA
Radovica is a village that borders with Croatia. It situated in southwest part of Slovenia. It lies 400 meters over the see . It is a crowded tipe of village and it is placed by the rode . Becouse of its location on the hill Rebrina it has a beautiful view on the east Bela Krajina. This is were the roads seperate to the villages Sošice, Brašljevica, Drašiči, Krašnji vrh and Boldraž. South sides of the hill are planted with vine. People make red and white vine. On the west and north sides there are fields. On the irradiation side grows forest. But the pasture-grounds are on the places where no other plants can grow. Under the village you can find lime-stone.

The community of Radovica combains four villages : Bojanja village, Krašnji pike, Radoši and Radovica. This villages help and cooperate with eachother. There have always been difficult living conditions becouse the ground is very hilly and karsty world. People work in vineyards,fields, stock-farming. Hard living conditions and the state border have always united people in different organisations and associations. The fire brigade for example has an almost sixsty years tradicion, there is also a cultural association and a church singing groop. Very active is also the sport association that joins older and jounger people.

Radovica has gotten electicity in 1955, but they have the waterworks and asphalt for over 30 years. In the history of Radovica were many people fighters for human rights and for free lives. From this places are for example known the spanish fighters and the first organizers that fought against the occupier in the second worls wore. Becouse of this facts is Bela Krajina called the creeb of partisan movement.

There are two restaurants in Radovica, one store and one rural tourism. People from Radovca have very open and kind personality. There are also many nice and interesting peoples tales.
