Podzemelj is not a village that is orientated only in tourism, but that doesn't mean that tourism is not developed here. The most tourists come to this place in summer when the Camp Podzemelj is opened. It lies near the river Kolpa which is the warmest river in Slovenia. So it is not weard that in the summer we can find here lots of tourists. Here come not only the locals and other people of Bela krajina and Dolenjska, but also people from all over Slovenia and foreigners. The camp of Podzemelj is one of the rare camps by Klopa that can praise with good offer and comfortable location.
