Solidarity

The day after Spring Day a group of 16 pupils from the school choir and three teachers visited the Center for the homeless in Ljubljana. They wanted to share Spring Day with the less fortunate. The pupils sang four songs about love, friendship and hope and recited some works by famous Slovenian poets. We also brought some culinary specialities that our pupils had prepared at school the day before. To make this meeting really Slovenian, Alan Klepčar, a grade 6 pupils played a few national songs on his accordian. You could see our audience smile and clap to the rhythm of the music. It seems that we made their day. They were so happy that they all invited us to come and see them again soon.
