The Navigator's Almanac (c)1996

This program is freeware which may be distributed and used freely.
The only restrictions to this policy is that it may not be modified
without my permission and this text file must accompany any copies
however distributed.

The Navigator's Almanac is a daily almanac generation program written
to run on any XT or higher processor. The program runs under MSDOS
(ver 3.3 or better) and requires 256kB of free RAM and an 80x25
character display. A printer attached to LPT1 is optional.

Computed almanac data errors should not exceed ....
ARIES & SUN	0.1' of arc

stars & MOON	0.5' of arc

planets 2.0' of arc

When starting the program, the default date will always be the system
date. The user may select the format for displaying the date, as either
day/month/year or month/day/year. This selection is made under the
<C>onfigure menu option. Also found under this menu is the option to
set the number of printable lines per page of the printer attached to
LPT1.
